Bringing Static Stories to Life Through Interactive Design
As Senior Art Director at Joe Zeff Design, I worked at the intersection of editorial craft, client strategy and digital production — helping major brands, publishers and universities create bold, interactive storytelling experiences across platforms.
I played a hybrid role that blended design direction, technical strategy and day-to-day production — while also serving as project manager and client liaison across multiple high-profile accounts. My work included interactive app experiences for the NFL, Notre Dame, Bulgari, Fast Company, Adobe, JPMorgan Chase, UCLA, Food Network and National Geographic — built for iPad, iPhone, Android, Kindle Fire and Windows tablets. I also led client training, managed Adobe DPS integration and helped shape studio workflows and hiring for scalable delivery.
Cross-Platform Storytelling Under Pressure
At JZD, I helped bring ambitious ideas to life under tight deadlines, translating print-rich creative into responsive, interactive formats. Whether adapting 288-page print programs like the Super Bowl XLVIII app, creating training tools for Bulgari or developing new publishing workflows with Fast Company, my work required sharp communication, efficient systems and deep editorial instincts.
These projects spanned strategy, design and delivery — and reinforced my belief that the best digital experiences start with a clear story and the tools to bring it to life, fast.
